Absolutely devastating news. This isn’t about celebrity, Finn, element of surprise, media, whatever. This is about a poor, tortured soul who left too soon. Utterly heartwrenching. Of course our thoughts with his cherished ones.
Let’s please, please have the utmost respect.
A person is a person, no matter how well known their name may or may not be. They have family, friends, pet peeves, a history, a first bike they rode, a first word they said, a story to tell… The only thing that I hope can come out of this is a more awakened approach of how to support and love those with addictions. No matter how difficult it may be. These people are no longer themselves and have a lack of clarity. Instead of judging them for becoming addicted direct that anger towards those who distribute and make these drugs. (no matter what they are.)
Finally, let’s hope the media gives his family and friends and girlfriend some peace. Let them not be the heartless creatures they have established themselves to be and not take pictures. Not push them for a response. Not email their reps for answers or try and not try to get a shot of tears for green.
Remember love. In the end, that’s the best that we can do.
